2024 Recruiter of the Year: William Lyday

William Lyday has been an integral part of Trustaff for the past two and a half years, consistently showcasing extraordinary skills in his role. His dedication and outstanding performance have earned him the esteemed title of Recruiter of the Year. William's knack for identifying and placing talented clinicians has significantly contributed to Trustaff as a whole.

Q: What do you love about recruiting for Trustaff?

A: “We offer the ability for people to change their lives. Not only do our clinicians grow within their discipline but they grow as human beings. It’s a really awesome process to be a part of.”

Q: How has working for Trustaff made you a better recruiter?

A: “Our team here at Trustaff is remarkably supportive. Anytime there is a situation that is hard to navigate I get the opportunity to work with my supervisors and colleagues to come up with an innovative solution for our clinicians. That type of engagement over time has provided a vast “tool kit” of solutions for many different situations.”

Q: What is your favorite part of working with allied professionals?

A: “My favorite thing is knowing that we are making a difference for patients all across the country. Also, I have some characters that travel with me and they are so funny.”

Q: Why is Trustaff different than other agencies?

A: “From a logistical standpoint, we are vendor neutral so we have more options for our travelers vs. other agencies. We really are able to be their one-stop shop location for all things contract-related.”

Q: What do you do outside of recruiting for Trustaff?

A: “I’m a simple man. I like to spend time with my family, go to the gym, watch Netflix, and play a couple of games! When the weather permits, I also enjoy spending time out in nature.”

Q: What is one thing people may not know about you?

A: “When I was young, I spent a lot of time in the hospital. I have not forgotten how much the staff helped me and my family through that process. This is not just a career to me but an opportunity to try and give back a little to the community that made such an impact on me.”
